I am Les Wollam, a commercial photographer in Dallas, TX, and I welcome you to my online photography portfolio. I am not a wedding photographer, nor a family portrait photographer, nor a senior portrait photographer, but a Dallas commercial photographer who works for corporations, advertising agencies, the medical establishment, and magazines around the world. Highly trained and experienced, I use my insight, intuition, understanding, and creativity to create uncommon photography of the commonplace. I paint eye-catching visual images that tell unique stories, and have traveled the world to gain a versatile and creative eye.
As corporate photographer, I use photography to help CEOs convey their messages, capturing facial expressions and body language which set a positive tone for shareholders, customers, and employees alike. As an architectural photographer, buildings morph from inanimate structures to colorful images that pop off the page or screen. Working as a photographer for the medical industry gives me the opportunity to show with photographs the human side of medicine from hospital operating rooms to clinics and personnel. A graduate of the prestigous Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. I have lived in Spain, Japan, both the East and West Coasts of the United States, and now reside and practice photography in Dallas, TX. In New York City I worked with the legendary photographer Arnold Newman, known worldwide for his iconic images of Pablo Picasso and Marilyn Monroe. Soon, I began shooting for Fortune, BusinessWeek and Forbes. Les Wollam and Assoc. are now Dallas based photographers but work across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and globally. As mentioned before, they specialize in corporate and magazine photography, with an emphasis on photography of portraits, medical research and personnel, architecture, and annual reports.
